With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Meece of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Willard "Denton" Pitman; her husband Vester Leon "V. L." Meece; her siblings, Willard "Gene" Pitman, William "Bill" Pitman and Judy Tucker; and her sister-in-law Beverly Pitman.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Lawter (Ronnie) of Russell Springs; her close friend Phillip Wade of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Ronnie Lawter (Rachel) and Mackenzie Lawter (Trevor); her great grandchildren, Ellora Bea Lawter and Ezra James Strunk; her siblings, Anna Lee Compton of Somerset and James "Jimmy" Pitman of Somerset; her siblings-in-law, Richard Tucker (Ricky) of Nancy and Sheila Pittman of Norwood, OH; and her sisters, Donna Proffitt and Kathy Garrison of Norwood, OH. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
