With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Stargel of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Russell, Kentucky, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Stargel and Lorene Withers Stargel; his daughter Sherri Stargel; and his brothers, Earl Wayne Stargel and David Stargel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter Stargel of Russell Springs; his children, Louis Stargel, Jr. (Tonya) of Russell Springs and Cindy Stargel of Russell Springs; his grandchildren, Crystal, Tiffany, Madison and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Kaeden, Azlynn, Ayla, Baylee, Chloe, Arlo and Owen; and his siblings, Dennis Martin (Pamela) of Louisville, Jimmy Stargel (Kay) of Glasgow, Roger Stargel (Gina) of Russell Springs, Sandra Hainey (Harry) of Nancy, Janet Loy (Sam) of Russell Springs and Debbie Whittle (Tommy) of Russell Springs.
Due to COVID restrictions, graveside services will be held privately for family only Saturday, November 21, 2020, at New Friendship Cemetery with Brother Charles Edwards officiating.
