She was predeceased by: her parents, James Meeks and Ophelia Horton Meeks Grider; her husband Finis Pierce; her stepfather John Grider; and her siblings, James Meeks, Jerry Meeks, Linda Grider and Sarah Meeks.
She is survived by: her children, Finis Pierce, Jr. of Russell Springs, Gary Pierce (Pearlie) of Russell Springs, James Pierce (Deborah) of Russell Springs, Donna Oquendo of Joelton, Carol Tennett of Harrisburg, Brenda Williams (Rex) of Clarksville, Cheryl Kerr (Cotton) of Columbia, Judy Hunter (Randy) of Columbia, Kathy Boggess (Paul) of Columbia and Sabrina Walls (Roy) of Frankfort; her brothers, Edward Meeks of Ashland City, Tennessee and Lee Roy Meeks of Ashland City, Tennessee; and her sister-in-law Zenda Meeks of Sugartown, Louisiana. She is also survived by her 30 grandchildren; and her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
