He is survived by: his wife Shannon Coomer Bennett; his children, Mike Bennett (Lisa) of Russell Springs and Diana Hockensmith (Wayne) of Frankfort; his brother Winston Bennett (Brenda) of Columbia; his sister-in-law Sheila Bennett of Somerset; and his grandchildren, Jason Ford, Amy Hockensmith, Jeremy Hockensmith, Jamie Elmore and Heather Elmore. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
