She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Haynes and Betty Watkins Haynes; her stepmother Violet Haynes; and her father-in-law Herb Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Mark Ellis of Russell Springs; her children, Heather Stevens of Lexington and Mark Ellis, Jr. of Pasco, Washington; her sisters, Vicky Cordell (Kevin) of Somerset and Tamara Diamond of Middlesboro; and her grandchildren, Soren Quinata, Jacqueline Ellis, Gianna Ellis, Mark Ellis, III, Asher Stevens White and Isabella Ellis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. These donations will be used to provide an Appreciation Dinner for the employees of Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, in gratitude for the excellent care they provided to Kathy.
