With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Williams of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on April 25, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gussie Williams (Sullivan) and Joe L. Williams; his wife Mary W. Williams; his brothers, Ike, Millard, Parker and Cody Williams; and his granddaughter Billie Carol Murray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Tarter of Russell Springs, KY, Johnna (James Popplewell) of Jamestown, KY and Luanne (Tim Adams) of Jamestown, KY.; his grandchildren, Mandy Weston (Eric), Emily Cook (A. J.) and Matthew Adams (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Layne, Avery Weston and Owen Cook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
