He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell, Sr. and Barbara Curtsinger Hamlett; and his son Timothy Lee Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Grace Beeson; his children, Michael Jacobs (Michelle), Margie Cole (Elton), Becky Jacobs and Bryan Jacobs; his siblings, Thomas Hamlett and Theresa Hamlett; and his grandchildren, Abigail Jacobs, Bradley Jacobs, Aubree Jacobs, Joshua Liner, Christian Liner, Alexandrea Budd (Jamie), Joseph Riddle (Amber), Whitney Riddle, Timothy Lee Jacobs, II, Imyia Jacobs, Seth Jacobs, Logan Jacobs and Kayla Jacobs. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
