He was predeceased by: his parents, Refus Dowell and Ada Mae Coffey Gentry; and his half-siblings, Eldon "Peanut" Gentry and Wanda Rhoten. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Campbell of Columbia, Ella Johnson (Phillip) of Russell Springs and Joan Shaw of Edmonton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
