Irene Pyles Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Pyles of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Russell, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilburn Voils and Lizzie Stearman Voils; her daughter Terry Lane Selby; her siblings, Leland Voils, Eugene Voils, Louise Voils Leach, Oretha Voils Selby and Verlee Voils Warriner; her grandson Dennis Selby; and also Lewis Voils.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Pyles of Russell Springs and Jacky Pyles of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Alisha Knight (Josh) of Jamestown and Eric Selby (Heather) of Russell Springs; her great grandchildren, Layla Aitken, Ava Aitken and Hallie Knight; and her son-in-law Billy Selby of Russell Springs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bernard Funeral Home (367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY 42642). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Irene's memory be made to the Russell County Hospital Auxiliary or to The Springs Church.
