He was predeceased by: his parents, Retha Stephens (Stephens) and Alvin Ray Stephens; his wife Kay Thomas Stephens; and his siblings, Curtis, Getha, Bobby, Jimmy, Ralph, Billy, Collis, Elbert, Verlon Stephens, Irene Youngblood, Anna Stephens and Gladys Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Stargle (Randy) of Russell Springs, KY., Danny Stephens (Lori) of Russell Springs, KY. and Torry Ryder of Russell Springs, KY.; and his sister Sharon Coffey of Russell Springs, KY.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bernard Ridge Church of God (241 Stephens Ridge Rd, Russell Springs, KY 42642). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
