With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garnet Lee Burton of Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Burton and Ruby Sinclair Burton; his brothers, Jack Burton and Danny Burton; and his sister-in-law Norma Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hadley Burton of Russell Springs; his daughters, Martina Burton of Fairfield, Jana Howard (Joseph) of Lexington and Angela Page of Clarksville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Idania Burton (Alex Osborne), Karina Burton, Emily Howard (Jacob Daugherty), Mark Howard, Kaitlyn Day (Trent) and Sarah Stilts; and his great grandchildren, Hadley Day, Dylan Day and Harper Day.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bernard Funeral Home (367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY 42642). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
