He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fred Whitson and Thelma Lingenfelter Whitson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Redmond Whitson of Russell Springs; his children, David Whitson of Richmond, Sheri Foster (Eric) and Amanda Quisenberry (James) of Russell Springs; his grandchildren, Erica Heath, Chris Foster, Shayla Whitson, Dylan Harrison, Zachary Foster, Savannah Whitson, Kadie Foster and Sydney Whitson; and his great grandchild Piper Heath. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
