It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Bennett of Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Nora Smith Bennett; and his siblings, Russell Bennett, Sam Bennett, Herbert Bennett, Marvin Bennett, Mildred Stapp, Rachel Irvin, Helen Bennett and Virginia Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Badgley of Shelbyville, Sheila Coaley of Festus, Marilyn White (Robert) of New Palestine, Debby Edmonds of Jamestown and Kim Matthews (Eddie) of Greenwood, Indiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
