He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mertie Allen Atwood and Kelsey Logan Atwood; his wife Avalene Atwood; his children, Sue Ellen Johnson of Liberty, KY. and Bruce Wayne Atwood (Connie) of Somerst, KY.; his stepchildren, LaRhonda Davidson (Paul) of Nancy, KY, Lennie Dockery (Tonya), Monty Dockery (Gina), Jamie Dockery and Perry Dockery (Michelle) of Russell Springs, KY.; and his sister Patricia Carol Emerson of Liberty, KY.. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren as well as a host of great grandchildren.
