He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cecil and Rose Bernice Wethington; his wife Wanda Mae Wethington; and his siblings, Adrian "Tater" Wethington, Nina Underwood, Mary Claire Wethington and Paulita Cooper.

He is survived by: his son Daryl Watts (Beverly) of Russell Springs; his siblings, David "Frog" Wethington (Marlene), Dale Wethington, Tom Wethington (Brenda), Matilda Sapp, Lois MacLaren (Jim) and Faye Clements (Jody); his granddaughters, Hannah York (Jesse) and Dana Watts; and his great grandchild Molly Mae York.
