Bessie Jane Shepherd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Jane Shepherd of Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bessie Jane Shepherd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Haydon Harmon and Betty Robertson Harmon; her former husband Albert Chumbley; her husband J. T. Shepherd; her sons, William Chumbley and Johnny Chumbley; and her great grandchild Taylor Grider.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Litton of Jamestown, Brenda Wilson of Russell Springs, Judy Johnson (Bruce) of Russell Springs and Vivian Burton (Steve Kimbler) of Columbia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family suggests donations in Bessie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Kentucky, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205. Donations can also be left at the funeral home.
