He is survived by: his children, Leisa Rae Littleton and Robert Edward Layne; his grandsons, Cody Littleton of Rush and Matthew Littleton of Rush; and his siblings, Frank Layne, Jr. (Cindy), Bill Layne (Linda), Jimmy Layne and Roberta Sexton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
