He is survived by: his mother Connie Smith Marcum Cumpston (Jimmy) of Ashland; his children, James Garrett Marcum of Rush, Kentucky and Crista Marcum of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his siblings, Bill McLaughlin of Rush, Kentucky and Amber Damron (Jeremy) of Maryville, Tennessee; and his stepmother Reana Marcum of Rush.
