He was predeceased by: his wife Tillie Hicks Shavers. He is survived by: his son Matthew Shavers (Sarah) of Ashland, KY; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Matilyn, Noah, Alex and Payton; his brother Charles (Pam) of Catlettsburg, KY; his siblings-in-law, Doris Shavers and Joe Salyers; his daughter Melissa Shavers; and his siblings, Frank Shavers (Evelyn), John Shaffer (Barb), Vanis Shavers and Mary Lou Salyers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Hills Lodge. A masonic service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
