With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Bowling of Rush, Kentucky, born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Eugene and Midge Blankenship Bowling. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Diana Bowling; his wife Polly Dillon Bowling of Rush; his sons, Russell Ray Bowling of Rush, David Lee Bowling of Rush, Rick Bowling (Katana) of Rush and Rodney Dean Bowling of Rush; his grandchildren, Nick Bowling, Amy Whitaker (Jason), Brian Bowling (Jennifer), Rebecca Davidson (Brian) and Angel Horn (Michael); his great grandchildren, Harley, Chance, Kayleen, Dillon, Hailey Jo, Brylee, Dixie, Jesse, Colt and Rusty; his siblings, Darrell Bowling (Mary) of Catlettsburg, Garnett Stapleton (Bill) of Ashland and Lucy Jean Atkins of Ashland; and his grandson-in-law Michael Horn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
