He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Sue "Becky" McKnight Ferguson of Rush; his children, Matthew Edward Ferguson (Lisa) of Somerset, KY and Melissa Culy of Portland, IN; his grandchildren, Hannah Ferguson Deerfield (William), Matthew Edward Ferguson, Jr. and Alissa Johnson (Chance); and his great grandchildren, Willow Deerfield and Colton Johnson (Ron Cutshall) of Grayson. He is also survived by extended family and good friends.
