She was predeceased by: her parent Burl; her husband Elwood Maynard; her son Gordon Christopher Maynard; and her siblings, Mary McCord, Samuel and Willie Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Maynard of Pikeville, Jerome Maynard (Becky) of Pikeville, Mark Maynard (Sandy) of Rush, Kentucky, Suzanne Maynard of Rush, Berlene Maynard of Rush, Priscilla Salyer (Tom) of Grayson and Joan Smith (Jesse) of Pikeville, Kentucky. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
