She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Puckett and Sylvia Wilkerson Chaney; her husband William Harvey Lane Jr.; her granddaughter Alice Lane; her great grandchild Joshua Lane Gentry; and her siblings, Nellie Harper and Austin Puckett.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Ann Gentry (Bill), Gaye Lane Asbury (Billy) and Ronald Dale Lane (Pamela); her brother Dale Puckett (Pat); her grandchildren, Paul, Wesley, Stuart Gentry, Ellen Tandy, Mindy Brooks, Cindy Herrington, Jason, Nicholas and Benjamin Lane; and her stepgrandchildren, Matthew, Alayna Bailey and Christina Bailey Alvey. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
