He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Kathryn Price Blackburn; his wife LeeAnne Lykins Blackburn; and his sisters, Edith Combs and Elizabeth Bush.
He is survived by: his sons, James Dude Blackburn (Mary) of Lexington and Roy Lee Blackburn (Carolyn) of Beattyville; his grandchildren, Jada Blackburn, Calvin Blackburn, Ethan Blackburn, Katherine Blackburn, Adrianna Blackburn and Olivia Blackburn; and his sister Brenda Ingram of Middletown, Ohio.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
