James Dixon Jones III Obituary

James Dixon "George" Jones III of Rogers, Kentucky, departed this life Monday, July 3, 2023 at the age of 46 years. He was a son of the late Carolyn Sue Jamison Carpenter, born in West Liberty, Kentucky, on February 10, 1977. He was a general laborer by trade. He is survived by one son, Travis Dixon Grant Lawson and his mother Rebecca Lawson of Valeria, Kentucky; one brother, George William Jones (Kristie) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two sisters, Melissa Trent of Rogers, Kentucky and Laura Rogers (Dean) of Clay City, Kentucky; one uncle, Ernie Jamison; one aunt, Brenda Creech. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Sue Jamison Carpenter; his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Creech and his maternal grandfather, Elwood Jamison. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Serving as pallbearers; Travis Lawson, Kevin Donathan, Shawn Donathan, Josh Hollon, Joshua Stewart, Henry Cline, Eric Lyn Brewer and Matthew T. Jamison.
