He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Childres; his sons, Warren Childres of Rocky Hill and Marc Childres of Mt. Washington; and his siblings, Lannie Childres (Janice) of Rocky Hill, Alton Childres (Joyce) of Sunnyside, Edna Jordan of Glasgow, Virgie Brown of Russellville and Leoda Childres of Rocky Hill.
