She was predeceased by: her parents, Clell Childress and Myrtle Lindsey Childress; her daughter Paula Lynn Dreyfuss; and her siblings, Wayne, Leonard, Jimmie, Lillie and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Vaughan of Glasgow and Deborah Virgie Been (Lowell) of Huntington Beach, CA; and her siblings, Alton Childres (Joyce), Lannie Childress (Janice) and Leoda Moody. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
