He was predeceased by: his parents, George Franklin and Edith Bickford Bowling; his daughter Christa Marie Bowling; and his siblings, Robert Franklin Bowling and Betty Skaggs.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Thompson Bowling of Rockport, Kentucky; his daughter Saundra Marie Walls (Kenneth) of Gainesville; his sister Brenda Toth of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Brittany Ward (Joshua) and Christopher Mitchuson (Nina); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Ward, McKenna, Jacob and Mathiaus Mitchuson.
