She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Johnson and Martha Johnson; and her sister Judy Gail Slaughter. She is survived by: her husband Robert Jay Monroe; her children, Troy E. Smith, Michael Dale Smith (Amber) and Laura Gail Smith (Tommy Wilhite); her brother Roger Johnson; and her grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Anthony Stanley, Raven Brewer, Ronnie Smith, Landon Smith, Amy Smith, Dakota New, Nevah New, Hayden Smith, Harlie Smith and Karlie Smith. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
