It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmond Spurlock (Rockport, Kentucky), born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on August 17, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Katherine "Kat" Spurlock; his brother Charles Spurlock; his daughter Alice Manasco; his sons-in-law, John Gatewood, Bob Manasco and Bill Brown; and his granddaughter Mindy Landrum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Emma Gatewood of Rockport and Carolene Brown of Rockport; his grandchildren, James Edmond Manasco (Melanie), Bobbie Jo Calloway (Danny) and Kimberly Farris (Troy); his great grandchildren, Kayla Calloway, Kendra Calloway, Kara Calloway, Kayden Manasco, Jay Manasco, Tatum Manasco, Alex Farris, Austin Landrum and Ashton Farris; and his brother Herman Spurlock of Cawood.
