It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Douglas Shell of Rockhouse, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Artheda Tackett Chaney; and his brothers, Randy Lee and DeWayne Shell. He is survived by: his father George Lee Shell; his sisters, Sarah Slone of Pikeville, Brenda Griggs of Lookout, Theda Boettcher of Helllier, Terrie Rose of Pikeville and Tonya Newsome of Pikeville; and his fiancé Lonetta.
