He was predeceased by: his mother Jannie May Hatfield Bentley; his son Willis Dean Bentley; and his siblings, Kenneth and Jacqueline Blackburn. He is survived by: his father Leon Bentley; his wife Janie; his sons, Amos Jason Bentley (Erma) of Rockhouse and Shawn Daniel Bentley (Telisha) of Elkhorn City; his siblings, Leon, Jr. of Rockhouse, Eliza Bentley of Draffin, Lula Mae Madden of Pikeville and Sharon Marie Howell of Rockhouse; and his grandchildren, Kalee MaShae Adkins (Blake), Nathan Ryan Bentley, Emelia Lynn, MaKinley Faye and Keaton Dean Bentley.
