He is survived by: his mother Sue Hunter of Williamsburg; his sisters, Connie Sumner (Rick) of Williamsburg and Regina Lawson (Woodrow) of Rockholds; his children, Wendell Gene Hunter Jr. of Corbin, Rev. Trevor Gene Hunter (Becka) of Williamsburg, Jaden Hunter of Rockholds, Ashley, Ryann Hunter of Toledo, Kayla Bunch of Williamsburg, Laci Gardner of Williamsburg and Megan Hill of Florida; and his close friend Cathy Gardner. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
