He was predeceased by: his sister Connie Kirby. He is survived by: his parents, Archie Carter and Jacqueline Rushing Carter; his children, Jacob Carter of Siler, KY, Cassie Garnett (Jeremiah) of Williamsburg, KY, Martin Carter of Knox County, KY and Isaac Carter of Knox County, KY; his grandsons, Eli Carter and Jasper Carter; and his siblings, Patricia Smith (Roger) of Jellico, TN, Russell Carter (Ginger) of Corbin, KY, Gordon Freshour (Bennie) of Georgetown, KY and Archie Carter (Lacy) of Rockholds, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
