He is survived by: his parents, Archie Carter and Jacqueline Rushing Carter; his children, Jacob Carter (Cheyenne) of Siler, KY, Cassie Garnett (Jeremiah) of Williamsburg, KY, Martin Carter (Abigail) of Knox County, KY and Isaac Carter of Knox County, KY; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Elena, Dawson, Eli Carter and Jasper Carter; and his siblings, Patricia Smith (Roger) of Jellico, TN, Russell Carter (Ginger) of Corbin, KY, Gordon Freshour (Bennie) of Georgetown, KY and Archie Carter (Lacy) of Rockholds, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
