“I served with Ed in Vietnam in 1971. We were together for a reunion with some of the other members of our unit in Nashville in May, 2009. My wife and Ed's wife Donna became good friends from that time until Donna's passing. I had hoped to see Ed once more, but that was not to be. May the Lord Jesus Christ, who both Ed and I trusted in for salvation by His grace alone, minister His comfort from His Word by His Spirit to the members of Ed's extended family during this time of sorrow.”
