He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nichols and Nancey Jane Nichols (Baird); and his brothers, Pleas Nichols and Charles Nichols. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Phyllis Nichols of Rockholds, Kentucky; his daughters, Sheryl Strickland (Mike) of Williamsburg, Sharon Grossman of Williamsburg and Linda Hayes (John) of Rockholds, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Scottie Jones (Alicia), Cierra White (Chris), April Walden (Zach), Marcus Miller (Savannah), Guner Miller, David Miller, Michael Strickland, Jr., Heavenlee Strickland, Emilee Strickland, Cody Hayes (MacKenzie), Savannah Hayes and Dalton Hayes; and his siblings, Vivian Graf of Dayton, Lula Yarger of Hamilton, Irene Robinson (Charlie) of Corbin, Florence Anita Neal (Mike) of Corbin, Kentucky, Henry Nichols of Corbin and Jimmy Lee Nichols (Michelle) of Corbin, Kentucky. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
