She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Cox; her siblings, Edith Britt, Lena Sledge and Elmer "Pete" Moore; her children, Rena Diane Asher (Donnie), Sharon Marie Jones, James Edward Cox (Cathy) and Debra C Herrington; her grandchildren, Tiffany Jones (Ben), Crystal Stigall (Anthony), Eric Jones (Matt), Wesley Asher (Cara) and Ann Alderson (Logan); and her great grandchildren, Hunter and Easton Stigall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
