He was predeceased by: his father Larry Glyn Benson; and his grandparents, Bernie, Erlene Grace, Clifton and Pansy Benson.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Grace Roach (Joe) of Owensboro, KY; his wife Debbie McKinney Benson of Rochester, KY; his children, Elizabeth "Izzy" Benson Halbrook (Jason) of Salem Missouri, Victoria "Tori" Benson of Salem Missouri and Carly Wilber of Salem Missouri; his grandchildren, Oakley, Owen, Bellah and Baylor; his stepgranddaughters, Jasmine, Hannah and Sierra; his sister Amy Benson Finley of Owensboro, KY; and his nephew E. J. Laster of Owensboro, KY.
