She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Anderson and June Ferguson Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Tom Simons; her children, Kimberly Allen, Thomas Simons (Lisa), James Simons (Luying) and Theodore Simons (Abby); her grandchildren, Jessica, Timothy, Charles, Scott, Kaylee, Hannah, Sebastian and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Diane Headrick and Timothy Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
