With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jan Sheets of River, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Adams and Flora Daniels Adams. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Paul Milton Sheets; her children, Michael Sheets (Melissa), Denise Preece (Edsel) and Dr. Melissa Nichols (Jay); her grandchildren, Michaela Sheets, Victoria Jarrel (Logan), P. Tate Preece, Dr. Logan Nichols, Landon Nichols and Lincoln Nichols; her stepgrandchildren, Hope Taylor (Adam) and Ryan Preece (Hilary); and her great grandchildren, Myla Sheets and Atlas Trobaugh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Paintsville Alumni Association or First Christian Church by.
