He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hatcher and Velive Helvey Gibson (Ray); and his siblings, Ira, Ernest Dale Helvey and Imogene Gail Helvey.
He is survived by: his wife Fayette Helvey (Roberts); his sons, Robert Hatcher Helvey (Jessica) of Regina, KY. and Bill Helvey of Frankfort, KY.; and his grandson Nathaniel Lee Helvey of Regina, KY..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (4902 Zebulon Hwy, Raccoon, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
