He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Nannie Bell Fugate Henson; his daughter Lena Gail Henson; his wife Christine White Henson; and his siblings, Ruby White (Miles), Maxine Raleigh, Kernie B. Henson and Ray Henson.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Mullins (George) of River Caney, Josephine "Tudy" Spencer of Jackson and Dan Henson (Barbara) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Amy Henson (Shannon), James Henson, Heather Robertson (John), Goley Spencer (Chy), Josh Mullins and Jordan Mullins (Emily); his daughter-in-law Anita Faye Henson; his sister-in-law Deborah White; his sisters, Mary Eliza Francis (Logan) of Tennessee, Gora Watts (Fred) of Tennessee and Martha Francis (Dewey) of Jackson; and his great grandchild Host.
