He was predeceased by: his parents, Cort Daniel and Marguerite "Margie" Preston Daniel; his grandfather Cort (Big); his half-brothers, John Daniel, Lafayette "Spike" Daniel, Jay and Herbert; and his sister Joyce Ann Daniel Young.
He is survived by: his children, Cort Daniel III (Jackie) of River, KY, Kenneth Daniel (Karen) of Hurricane, WV and Teresa Daniel (Ron Dietz) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Heather Butcher (Brett), Rick O'Bryan (Greta), Cort Wesley Daniel (Jamie) and Tori Daniel (Brandon Fowler); his great grandchildren, Payton, Blake Daniel, Reese, Jase Butcher, Lexi, Trey O'Bryan, Grant and Marlee Jenkins; and his friends, Gordon and Brenda Ward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
