She is survived by: her husband James William Cowden of Rineyville, Kentucky; and her children, Edna Mae Powell (Dennis) of Rineyville, Wilena Joyce Balogh of Eddyville, James William Cowden, Jr. of Greenup, Melanie Ruth Swoboda of Levant and Sue Ellen Cowden of Rineyville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
