He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Buster" Courtland and Naomi Kessner Ramsey; and his daughter Misty Daniel Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Cooper Ramsey; his sons, Nick Ramsey, Chris Ramsey and Jacob Ramsey; his grandchildren, Ally Foley, Emma Grace Dishman, Nicholas Michael Ramsey and William Sawyer Ramsey; and his siblings, Raymond Ramsey, Maurice Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Sharon Lynch, Linda Chancellor and Martha Clark.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Smile Train.
