He was predeceased by: his father Joe E. Pitts, Jr.; and his brother Don Pitts. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Bryant Pitts; his wife Tolene Hacker Pitts of Richmond, KY; his daughter Geri Pitts Harrison (Mike) of Irvine, KY.; his grandchildren, Madison Lee Harrison (Kimball Foley) of Richmond, KY and Gregory Bryant Harrison of Irvine, KY; and his sister Sherry Jo Fowler (Wedge Fowler) of Danville, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
