He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephriam Bruin and Bessie Lee Edwards Gooden. He is survived by: his wife Fay Mills Bruin; his children, Brittany Nelson (Justin), Wayne Bruin Jr. (Shannon), Heather Bruin and Julie Bruin; his siblings, Garnett Bruin (Susan) of Cynthiana, Jan Ransvick of Lexington and Dr. B. J. Blangsted (Brian) of Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Reaba Whitaker and Diane Bruin. He is also survived by six grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
