She is survived by: her daughter Marisa Danielle Swango; her former husband Obra Collins, Jr.; her siblings, David Chester Johnson and Pauline Johnson Montgomery; her grandchildren, Jaycen David Mills, Ryan Michael Thomas and Malachii W. Carter; and her close friend Christine White. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
