In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virgil Leroy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Virgil Leroy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Leroy Brewer, Sr. and Gertrude DeHart Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Deloris Hopkins Brewer; his children, Oliver Brewer-Lennon (Joe Brewer-Lennon) and Kristen Brewer Wilson (Joe Wilson); and his grandson Justin Wilson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (401 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
