He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Newsome and Ruthie Newsome of Penny Road; and his siblings, Teddy, Jonas, Millard, Scottie and Mindy Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Nicole Newsome Hulberg (Jeremy) and Bradley Tivis Newsome (Tammie); his grandchildren, Gavin Cade Hulberg and Ashton Blake Hulberg; and his siblings, Clara Bartley of Pike County, Brenda Kiser (Don) of Pike County, Carolyn Harmon (Arnie) of Pike County and Randy Newsome (Lesley) of Morehead. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
